ASD Wins the 2012 NFDA Innovation Award!
On Monday, October 8, 2012, at the 2012 NFDA International Convention & Expo, the National Funeral Directors Association (NFDA) presented ASD - Answering Service for Directors with the 2012 NFDA Innovation Award. The company was recognized for their mobile app, ASD Mobile.
Established in 2009, the NFDA Innovation Award recognizes and promotes creativity, innovation and excellence among funeral service suppliers and vendors. Funeral service vendors and suppliers had an opportunity to submit a product or service that became commercially available after January 1, 2011, for consideration in the 2012 NFDA Innovation Award competition. A distinguished panel of funeral directors evaluated the entries and selected five finalists.
The funeral service community then had an opportunity to review the finalists' entries and vote for the product or service they felt was the most innovative. These votes were combined with the judges' scores to determine the winner.
This year's Innovation Award entries were due by June 15, 2012.
