Innovation is the key to growth and prosperity for any business . Finding new, exceptional ways to meet the demands of customers is critical. The NFDA Innovation Award was established in 2009 to promote the importance of creativity and innovation among funeral service suppliers and vendors, and to recognize excellence within the funeral service supplier community. If your company is committed to offering your customers inspiring, original products and services, NFDA wants to help you get the recognition you deserve.
Funeral directors who attend the NFDA International Convention & Expo seek out what’s new to help them in their businesses and in serving families. The Innovation Award competition is your chance to stand out from the crowd in New Orleans! NFDA invites and encourages all 2010 exhibiting companies to enter a new innovative product or service for consideration for the 2010 NFDA Innovation Award.
Entrants are eligible to submit up to three separate original products or services that have been commercially introduced since January 1, 2008. All entries must be submitted online using the official 2010 NFDA Innovation Awards Form no later than June 15, 2010.
New Judging Process in 2010! A panel of funeral director judges will evaluate qualifying entries, based on specific criteria, to select Innovation Award finalists. After the top entries are determined, finalists will be announced. The competition will then be opened for online voting by funeral directors who will choose the product or service finalist they consider the most innovative. Following the voting, results will be tabulated, weighted and added to the judges’ scores to determine the 2010 NFDA Innovation Award winner.
2010 NFDA Innovation Award finalists and the winner will be recognized at the NFDA International Convention & Expo Opening Session on Monday, October 11, 2010, in New Orleans.
